Job summary

Hansel Subaru in Santa Rosa is seeking an entry-level Upgrade Service Drive Acquisition Consultant to build relationships with service customers, understand their needs, and identify opportunities to purchase their current vehicle.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
• Inside/Outside sales experience is a plus.
• Self-motivation and a desire to succeed.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work toward individual and team goals.
• Retail schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Automotive experience is not required; right attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers visiting the Service Department and identify opportunities to purchase their current vehicle.
• Help customers understand options while creating acquisition opportunities for the dealership.
• Engage with service customers while their vehicles are being serviced.
• Identify upgrade opportunities based on vehicle equity, age, mileage, and needs.
• Explain vehicle features, benefits, and promotions clearly and enthusiastically.
• Conduct needs assessments to match customers with appropriate vehicle options.
• Learn the automotive business and stay updated on product changes.
• Deliver a world-class customer experience at every touchpoint.
• Track daily activities, appointments, and performance metrics.
