Job summary

BMW of Pembroke Pines is seeking a Drive Technician to join the Holman Family. You will maintain the vehicle lot, move cars for repairs and delivery, ensure full fuel tanks, and assist with basic servicing while following all safety and road-usage rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or related auto experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate standard and manual transmissions, plus willingness to complete pre-employment background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent auto program.
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Experience operating both standard and manual vehicles.
• Willingness to satisfy pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle lot organization and monitor workflow for repairs and customer delivery.
• Move and relocate cars, ensure full tanks, assist with oil changes and tire rotations, and handle shop cleanup.
• Verify receipt of and perform damage inspections.
• Assist the workshop as directed by trainer or Shop Foreman; keep snacks and beverages stocked.
• Follow safety rules and drive dealership vehicles carefully during road tests.

What will you do?

• Responsible for maintaining vehicle lot to ensure organization for service, as well as monitoring workflow to ensure cars are efficiently moving within and out of the shop for repairs and customer delivery.


• Move and relocate cars and ensure that all vehicles contain full tanks of fuel, may assist with oil changes and tire rotations, emptying oil buckets, collecting large parts and batteries from the shop.


• Verifies receipt of and performs a damage inspection


• Provide assistance to the workshop by completing tasks defined by the trainer/team leader or Shop Foreman, keeping the snacks/sodas/coffee stocked.


• Must be able to work with due diligence to complete the designated tasks and vehicular repair so as to avoid additional damage to the customer's vehicle.


• Able to follow all rules of the road and posted speed limits while driving customer and dealership owned vehicles while on road tests.

• Must have a valid driver's license with a excellent driving record

Pay:
