Qualifications

VNE is seeking two TS/SCI Cleared Service Desk Specialists. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or 10+ years of practical experience in service support management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Service Desk management.
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliance or relevant information assurance certification.
  • Applicable software or hardware training and certifications.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.
Job Description

The role involves providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and guiding users through problem-solving as the first point of contact for IT issues.

The contractor will maintain engineering knowledge, develop documentation supporting the Systems Engineering Technical Process, and ensure compliance with DoD and other applicable policies. Documentation includes Systems Engineering Plans, Safety Evaluations, Test Strategies, and more.

Essential Duties
  • Communicate task requirements clearly to clients.
  • Sit and stand for prolonged periods, lead and participate in meetings.
  • Visual acuity for keyboard use.
  • Attend work during scheduled hours unless on travel or leave.
  • Work on computers for long periods and communicate via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting; handling objects; reaching; talking and hearing.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals; moderate noise level typical of an office environment.
