Job description

Join to apply for the Service Desk Specialist - Rockville, MD - Hybrid role at AXXUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide Tier II support for Windows OS, networking, printers, connectivity issues, and other end-user devices.
  2. Azure Networking: Support and troubleshoot Azure networking issues, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and VPN connectivity.
  3. User Onboarding: Manage onboarding of new users, including account setup, email, permissions, and cloud integration.
  4. Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets from Tier I.
  5. System Monitoring: Monitor system health across network, Azure VMs, Azure networking, and Office 365.
  6. Network & Connectivity: Troubleshoot network issues, wireless access points, and VPN problems.
  7. Peripheral Support: Support printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  8. Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
  9. User Training: Provide training on Office 365, Dynamics 365, and other applications.
  10. Collaboration: Work with IT team on projects, upgrades, and implementations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows OS.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Azure services.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance.
