Qualifications

• Technical automotive knowledge is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage others is essential.
• Experience as a service manager or in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors service staff.
• Prepares and administers the annual service department budget.
• Maintains reporting systems and attends managers meetings.
• Directs and schedules department activities and ensures quality repairs.
