Gill Auto Group seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead the Gilroy CDJR team, driving department growth and efficiency. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, reporting, and customer relations to ensure top-tier service operations in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Technical automotive knowledge required.
• Previous Service Manager experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage others.
• Organized and friendly personality.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
• Attends managers meetings.
• Monitors and controls the department's performance using reports and surveys.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.
• Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and warranty procedures.
• Directs and schedules department activities and training.
• Maintains high quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks.
