Gill Auto Group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Gilroy CDJR Team and manage the service department with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role involves budgeting, staff development, and ensuring compliance with factory guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have technical automotive knowledge, prior service-management experience, and strong people skills to drive teamwork and growth across the service operation in Gilroy, CA.

Qualifications

• Technical automotive knowledge required.
• Experience as a Service Manager is a big plus.
• Ability to manage others.
• Dealership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
• Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
