Gill Auto Group in Gilroy, CA is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Gilroy CDJR Team. You will hire, train and motivate staff, manage the service department budget, and ensure high‑quality repairs and customer satisfaction across all channels.

Qualifications

• Technical automotive knowledge required.
• Previous Service Manager experience is a plus.
• Must demonstrate ability to manage others.
• Organized and friendly personality expected.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the service department and works to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors staff performance.
• Prepares and administers the annual service department budget.
• Maintains reporting systems required by management and factory.
• Attends managers meetings and directs department activities.
• Monitors department performance using reports and surveys.
• Develops a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations affecting service operations.
• Ensures warranty and policy procedures are followed by staff.
• Maintains customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
• Keeps customers informed of costs and time estimates for repairs.
