Palmer Trucks is seeking a Service Manager to drive daily operations of the Service Department in Evansville, IN. You will set objectives, manage revenue, and oversee staffing while maintaining high customer service standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, performance reviews, and coordinating with other departments to achieve financial and service goals. CDL preferred, but not required, with variable shifts as needed by the business.

Formación

• This job requires basic computer skills and repair order processing software familiarity.
• Driving ability with a safe record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Shifts may include evenings and weekends as needed by business.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and meet safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain practices to lead, train, develop, motivate and recognize staff.
• Conduct annual employee performance reviews and set objectives.
• Contribute to strategy and performance with all teams.
• Forecast, manage and control sales, gross profit and expenses; set objectives.
• Plan, develop and implement activities for employees.
• Assess current and future needs, trends and profit opportunities for the Service Department.
• Coordinate with other managers to align goals and communicate progress.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed and address variances.
• Ensure compliance with ethical, health, safety, legal and environmental policies.
