Job summary

Palmen Auto Stores in Racine, Wisconsin is seeking a Service Manager to lead our Service Department, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service while growing department revenue in line with business goals.

You will hire, develop, and motivate a strong team of service advisors and technicians, improve CSI/NPS scores, and coordinate with sales to meet vehicle service needs. We offer competitive pay, PTO, health/dental/vision, a 401(k) with match, and employee discounts on vehicles and parts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven success as a Service Manager in a dealership or service shop.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; CDK/ADP experience is a plus.
• Top level management skills with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; team player and driven.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; willing to pass drug screen & background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Service Department to deliver prompt, courteous, and effective service reflecting CSI.
• Support both new and used vehicle sales by ensuring service needs are met efficiently.
• Hire, train, and monitor service staff to ensure high performance.
• Act as liaison between service advisors, technicians, and customers.
• Hire and manage service department staff and prioritize required services.
