Job summary

Palmen CDJR of Racine is seeking a Service Manager to lead the Service Department, drive performance, and develop a strong team to deliver prompt, courteous service and maximize CSI/NPS scores and revenue. You will hire, train and coach service advisors, technicians and porters, coordinate with sales, and ensure smooth service transactions with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of proven success as a Service Manager at a dealership or service repair shop.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; CDK/ADP experience a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; professional, a team player, driven.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; willing to submit to drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service reflective through the department CSI.
• Provide support to vehicle sales operations by ensuring service needs are met timely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper handling of all service transactions by hiring, training and monitoring staff.
• Serve as a liaison between service advisors, technicians and customers.
• Manage and hire Service Department employees; prioritize required services.
