Job summary

Anderson Equipment Company in the Northeast seeks a Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy diesel, gas and electric construction equipment. You will diagnose problems, disassemble and reassemble machines, replace parts and document work orders.

The role requires a high school diploma, a two-year technical degree or military training, 2+ years in heavy equipment repair, and proficiency with diagnostic programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in heavy equipment repair.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two-year technical degree or military training preferred.
Proficient with diagnostic programs and computers.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair heavy diesel, gas and electric construction equipment.
Diagnose issues; disassemble, replace parts and reassemble.
Rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and pumps with senior assistance.
Prepare and enter parts requisitions in the company system.
Perform heating, brazing, soldering, burning and basic welding.
Document work orders and follow safety protocols at all times.
