Job summary

Tony’s Plumbing, Heating & Air in Modesto is hiring a Service Coordinator who will align the right technician with each job, prepare crews for calls, and ensure a positive experience for customers and the team.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced setting, master scheduling, coordination, and communication, and you’ll be trained to use ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office to keep every job documented and billed correctly.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in a fast-paced, customer-facing coordination role such as restaurant management, hotel front desk, event planning, service coordination, dispatch, or call center.
• Experience with scheduling, reservation, POS, or CRM software. No ServiceTitan experience? We’ll train you.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, plus strong typing and data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• The ability to juggle many priorities at once without dropping details.
• A natural problem-solver who works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the daily service schedule to maximize technician productivity, response times, and efficiency.
• Match technicians to service calls based on skills, location, urgency, and customer needs.
• Adjust schedules quickly when challenges arise, jobs run long, or appointments change.
• Prepare technicians with customer history, equipment information, open estimates, and other relevant details before each call.
• Communicate with customers about appointments, arrival times, delays, and changes.
• Handle inbound calls professionally, resolve customer concerns, and create a positive customer experience.
• Follow up on estimates, memberships, and outstanding opportunities to help convert them into scheduled appointments.
• Partner with the Service Manager to support technician performance and daily operations.
• Ensure service calls are accurately documented, coded, invoiced, and closed out in ServiceTitan.
• Maintain accurate customer records and assist with job costing, administrative tasks, and Project Coordinator coverage as needed.
