Job summary

Concord Counseling Services in Westerville, Ohio, is seeking a Social Worker, Housing Specialist (Service Coordinator) to assist individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues who are homeless and now live in supportive housing.

You will engage tenants, build a neighborly community, address barriers, provide limited case management, and support recovery through education and activities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in social work or related field is required.
• LSW or LPC preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage tenants with activities and education both within the housing program and the outside community.
• Build a community of neighbors and introduce sober activities around the city.
• Assist tenants with identifying and addressing barriers to success and to develop coping skills to live independently and as part of a community
• Providing limited case management services
