Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide comprehensive case management for participants in the Emergency Shelter program at Northside Common Ministries in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time, on-site role involves assessing needs, developing service plans, coordinating services, and promoting housing stability.

You will advocate for participant rights, coordinate referrals, and support clients through crisis intervention and navigating complex systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience in homeless case management or related fields.
• Associate’s degree in Human Services or related field with 3 years of homeless services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field with 1 year of homeless services experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless delivery of services through effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate referrals and link participants to appropriate resources and services.
• Advocate for participants’ rights and access to services.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support as needed.
• Assist participants in navigating systems and overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent AND 5 years homeless services experience

Associate's degree in Human Services OR related field AND 3 years homeless services exp

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work/Human Services OR related field AND 1 year homeless services exp
