Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Service Coordinator to lead front-end operations and ensure a high-quality customer shopping experience. You will coordinate checkout flow, assign tasks, and coach cashiers and service desk staff to meet productivity and service targets.

You will act as a trainer, SME for programs, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts while driving customer satisfaction and front-end accountability across the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Service Coordinator training curriculum.
• Ability to operate cash register system and financial services equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to organize and multitask effectively.
• Physical ability to perform lifting and movement as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate front-end checkout flow and maintain standards.
• Coordinate handoffs between shifts with peer leadership.
• Monitor shrink and financial outcomes within areas of responsibility.
• Coach team members and drive productivity and service.
• Lead on-the-job training and mentoring for team members.
• Serve as SME for market programs, pilots, and training.
• Assign tasks to team members with collaboration from the team leader.
