Job summary

Lakes Regional Community Center in Sulphur Springs, TX seeks a Service Coordinator to assess coordination needs, plan and refer services, and monitor delivery for consumers.

You will advocate for clients, document progress, and engage with families and providers. The role requires flexibility, including after-hours, holidays, and weekends, with frequent collaboration across teams.

Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience with IDD; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university (any field) OR Associate degree in a social, behavioral, human service, or health-related field with at least one year paid or unpaid experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent with two years of paid or unpaid experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• One or more years of work experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; working computer skills
• Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university (any field) OR Associate degree in a social, behavioral, human service, or health-related field including psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, and criminal justice with at least one year paid or unpaid experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred

High School diploma or a certificate recognized by a state as the equivalent of a high school diploma, and two years of paid or unpaid experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of work experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; working computer skills. Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus.
