Job summary

K&A Appliance is seeking a Service Coordinator to oversee the service operations of our appliance store in Lancaster, PA. You will coordinate a small team of technicians, ensuring timely service and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Must have a valid PA driver's license and be able to work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional extended hours and one Saturday every four weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in appliance/retail repair or similar role.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Availability: Mon–Fri 9:00–5:30, Fridays until 7:00, and one Saturday every 4 weeks 9:00–4:00.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to build relationships.
• Proficiency with computer systems relevant to service/delivery operations.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

K&A Appliance is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. As Service Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the service operations of our appliance store. You will coordinate a small team of dedicated professionals, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service for their household appliances.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily operations of the service department including service technicians.
• Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and timely service processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize service efficiency, ensuring timely completion of tasks and daily operations.
• Resolve customer complaints or elevate issues as necessary, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with other departments, mostly Delivery & Customer Check-out.
• Document & track current inventory of parts in order to determine what is already in stock, maintain certain levels of product & order parts needed to accomplish service repairs.
• Order & track parts needed for the Service Department
• File warranty claims with manufacturers in a timely fashion.
• Bill & collect payments from customers for non-warranty service work & parts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the appliance and/or retail repair industry
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Be available to work Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm, Fridays occasionally until 7pm and possibly 1 Saturday every 4 weeks from 9am to 4pm.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to service and delivery operations.
• Must have a valid PA Driver's License and be able to produce it at the time of the interview.

**Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required**
