Job summary

Tecta America East LLC – Jessup Location is seeking a Service Coordinator to support our Jessup, MD service operations. You will manage customer accounts, schedule field crews, input data in Navision, handle invoicing and A/R tasks, and help streamline service delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in service or roofing or customer service, a high school diploma (college degree a plus), proficiency with Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service.
• Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license; able to pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information and inputting into Navision.
• Resolves service issues by assessing complaints and expediting resolutions.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to broaden bidding pool.
• Attend trade events to develop industry relationships.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Input and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed.
• Develop daily and weekly field schedules and on-call coverage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Service Coordinator for our Jessup MD location.

Job Functions (includes)

• Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording account information and inputting into Navision and updating account information as required.
• Resolves service department/customer issues by assessing the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to broaden Tecta's bidding pool.
• Attend trade events, lunch-and-learn seminars, and trade organization meetings to further develop trade industry relationships.
• Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
• Investigate and resolve problems relating to all areas of responsibility, gather and analyze information and take proper course of action.
• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as required to maintain fiscal wellness of service department.
• Develop the daily and weekly field schedule, along with managing the off-hours on-call schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of service department, commercial roofing, and/or customer service experience.
• Critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, attention to detail, multi-tasking, follow-through, priority setting, and accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Prior commercial roofing experience a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to clearly convey concepts, assumptions, and thought patterns used to develop servce documents.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Background Check, Drug Test and be E-Verified.

Salary starting at $65,000 and up, dependent upon experience.
