Material Handling Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to thrive in a fast-paced environment where organization, communication, and execution are critical to success.

The role supports technicians and keeps customers informed while maintaining operational efficiency. Ideal candidates are highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have experience with service scheduling software and industrial equipment contexts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school graduate preferred.
• Experience in a service coordination, dispatch, customer service, or administrative role preferred.
• Experience using service scheduling software is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience within industrial equipment, material handling, heavy equipment, construction, automotive, or a service-based industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming service requests and dispatch technicians.
• Schedule and prioritize service work to maximize technician productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain daily technician activity records, labor entries, and service documentation.
• Process purchase orders and manage subcontracted service work.
• Create and maintain user accounts within Tinnacity and process internal purchase orders.
• Follow up on quoted repair work to support customer approvals and service completion.
• Process and manage warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
• Review Tinnacity errors, research discrepancies, and take corrective action.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding scheduling, service updates, and repair status.
• Work closely with Service Managers, technicians, Parts, and other departments to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure service information is current within company systems.
