Job summary

Safford Brown Hyundai Leesburg is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. You will be the main point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs while ensuring clarity between customers and our service staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in automotive service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This is an on-site, Full Time position with growth opportunities within the dealership.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Dealership service advisor experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying problems and requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage and develop estimates.
• Write repair orders and maintain customer records.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood.
• Communicate recommended services clearly to customers.

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
