Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Service Center Specialist to support service center and branch operations in Salt Lake City and Windcrest. You’ll handle inbound calls, generate rental quotes, place orders, and answer routine product questions to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience or a bachelor’s degree with relevant capability.
• Light construction experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Office suite and basic math skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot logical processes and understand circuit testing.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM applications and standard IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls, online inquiries, and walk-ins.
• Provide quotes and process orders via phone, in person, or email.
• Answer product questions and route to service or sales as needed.
• Enter orders and coordinate deliveries per customer agreements and freight terms.
• Support contract renewals, maintenance, and PO updates.
• Assist with time entries and billing for projects and service engagements.
• Ensure on-site techs have current safety credentials and training.
• Document tasks in established processes and maintain safe work environment.
