Vortex Industries' Philadelphia, PA Service Center seeks an Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day execution, P&L performance, safety and development of the team, reporting directly to a Regional Director.

You will drive profitability, customer satisfaction and service quality while implementing continuous improvement, sharing best practices, and building a high-performing culture across operations, sales support, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the door industry with 5+ years in operations leadership and P&L oversight.
• Strong budgeting and performance reporting capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills; disciplined, organized self-starter.
• Background in outside sales and face-to-face business development.
• Track record of people development and conflict resolution.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving strength.

Responsibilities

• Operate a profitable service center by managing operations, staffing, and expenses.
• Maintain strong relationships between management and employees.
• Uphold high standards for customer satisfaction and service quality to maximize retention.
• Implement continuous improvement programs to boost service levels, productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Drive operational excellence across quality, service, cost, and safety.
• Manage relationships with key partners and customers; be a trusted representative of Vortex.
• Allocate workload and align resources to meet service center goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; coach for performance.
• Establish expectations and provide constructive feedback; recognize achievement.
• Foster collaboration across teams and provide strategic leadership.
• Ensure procedures are followed; submit required documentation on time.
• Cultivate safety-first culture; meet OSHA guidelines.
• Share best practices to drive productivity and cost reductions.
• Travel to job sites and company meetings as needed.
