The role reports to the Regional Director and requires a proven track record in door-industry operations, with strong leadership, budgeting, and business development

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience in the door industry.
• At least five years’ experience managing operations with P&L oversight.
• Strong budgeting, performance reporting, and cost-control skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Experience in outside sales and in-person business development.
• Proven people development, coaching and performance-management skills.
• Technical aptitude, mechanically inclined, and strong problem-solving.
• Ability to address complex problems creatively and strategically.
• Experience hiring, training, and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Clear understanding of ethics, company values, and policies.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and company meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Service Center ensuring productive relationships between management and employees.
• Deliver a profitable operation through overseeing operations, staffing, and expenses.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Drive operational excellence to improve quality, service, cost and safety.
• Set a tone of excellence for customer satisfaction at every stage of service.
• Maintain high quality and timely service for maximum customer retention.
• Oversee relationships with key partners and customers.
• Lead the team to achieve Service Center goals by allocating workload and resources.
• Hire, develop and retain quality employees; support continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic leadership and foster collaboration across the Service Center.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines; document on time.
• Represent Vortex professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
