Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Atlanta, GA seeks a Service Center Administrative Manager to supervise administrative operations across multiple zones. You will hire, train, mentor and evaluate administrative staff, manage workflows, supplier credits, and reports, and oversee security and inventory control to meet service standards.

Lead continuous improvement teams, coordinate with corporate admin, and ensure cost-efficient processes while supporting internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in operating management or customer service/administrative supervision.
• High school diploma or GED; a four-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced).
• Knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong leadership, supervision and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of workforce management for administrative staff, including hiring, training, evaluating and succession planning.
• Oversee administrative support tasks: workflows, returns, supplier credits, and internal reporting.
• Maintain office equipment and inventory of forms and supplies; ensure proper records destruction.
• Oversee telephone service levels, staffing, training and equipment needs.
• Enforce security regulations and adherence to administrative procedures; audit for deficiencies.
• Coordinate with Corporate Zone Administrative Department for timely reporting and annual inventory.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams and projects affecting Service Center processes.
