Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Service Center Manager to directly manage staff and supervises daily operations across shifts. You will lead the sales team, schedule meetings, monitor production and service quality, and drive safety and training initiatives to maintain high efficiency.

The role demands experience in dock/driver supervision, strong leadership, and a focus on load planning and staff development within a 250+ service center network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years dock supervisor, driver supervisor, or S/C operations experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS/400, Windows and internal dock/yard systems.

Responsibilities

• Staff to goal to meet volume of work.
• Provide direct leadership to all location staff and manage daily operations.
• Monitor service center efficiency and load plans from origin terminals.
• Conduct safety and claims meetings with staff.
• Communicate goals and company news to service center staff.
• Ensure a safe work environment and maintenance of service center.
