This on-site role oversees shop operations, field service, customer service, and the full P&L, with relocation considered case-by-case. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading a repair or service operation, developing supervisors, and delivering margin improvement while driving KPI achievement.

Service Center General Manager - Equipment Repair and Service

Our client is a private-equity backed equipment repair & rebuild facility based in the greater Houston metro area. This Service Center GM will have complete responsibility for the entire site - including Operations, Engineering, Quality and Sales - reporting directly to the President.

The ideal candidate will expand on their capabilities - demonstrating:

• Full Operational responsibilities for a service-based operating system
• Developing, championing and improving KPI's
• Proven track record of P&L management
• Organizational development - enabling future leaders, succession and growth
• Communication savvy - across all levels, internal and external
• Financial acumen - adept at driving long-term margin improvement

This Houston-area opportunity is designed for an experienced industrial service leader ready for broader responsibility. You may already lead a mechanical service center, repair facility, or branch—and be looking for the opportunity to take ownership of overall business performance.

You will lead shop operations, field service, customer service, and financial results. The work calls for someone who understands repair and rebuild operations: evaluating incoming work, coordinating technicians and materials, managing changing priorities, and delivering quality repairs when customers need their equipment back.

You do need demonstrated success leading a repair/service operation, developing supervisors and technicians, and improving operating and financial performance.
