Job summary

AOG Living is seeking a Service Associate to prepare vacant apartment homes for move-ins, perform repairs, and assist with pool maintenance and grounds keeping as needed. You will work under the Community Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician to meet established standards and ensure timely turnover.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, using hand and power tools safely, and maintaining compliance with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Tools must be supplied by the employee.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
• Must be skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, moving aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• May handle plumbing repairs, tile work, appliance repair, carpentry repairs, electrical repairs and all facets of apartment make ready.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical or other malfunctions and make repairs.
• Must read and write in English to read diagrams, meters, instructions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board with Community Manager/Maintenance Manager and determine actions.
• Make all repairs/replacements for unit occupancy per make-ready checklist.
• Apply touch-up and full-paint as needed to interiors/exteriors.
• Clean out trash before, during, and after make-ready.
• Inspect completed units and schedule follow-up work before designating as Ready.
