Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Service Application Engineer to support customers and sales teams across the Central Region in a hybrid role near Novi, MI or Grand Rapids, MI. You will lead the development of technical service solutions, proposals, and pricing strategies for medium to highly complex opportunities.

This position requires up to 25% travel to customer sites, a company vehicle, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability, safety, and customer value in power distribution

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on field service and/or proposal generation experience in electrical services.
• 3+ years in application engineering, proposal development, engineering, sales, or related.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; travel up to 25%.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Eaton locations listed.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical solutions, proposals, and bid packages for medium to highly complex electrical service opportunities.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to sales teams and customers from diverse sectors.
• Analyze project specs, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate with vendors to deliver value-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations to create customized, reliable solutions.
