Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is seeking a Service Application Engineer to support customers and sales teams across the Central Region in a hybrid setup. The role requires up to 25% travel and includes a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years in electrical services with relevant hands-on experience.
• 3+ years in application engineering, proposal development, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Eaton Central Region locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical solutions and proposals for complex electrical service opportunities.
• Advise sales teams with competitive technical and commercial proposals.
• Analyze project specs, develop pricing, and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations and field service teams.
• Support growth of Eaton service offerings and digital integration solutions.
• Standardize pricing models and improve proposal quality and efficiency.
• Lead customer-facing discussions and joint sales calls.
• Support project transitions and track proposal performance.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
• Travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
