Daikin Applied is seeking an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager in Houston to act as a technical sales expert for HVAC products and BAS solutions. The hybrid role requires field travel and collaboration with district teams to grow the customer base and close contracts.

Responsibilities include developing existing accounts, prospecting new business, preparing quotes, and coordinating project estimates. Strong communication and Salesforce experience are valued assets for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in a related industry.
• Commercial HVAC sales experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily and cover an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Sell in territory by building relationships with customers and team members.
• Meet sales goals through development of existing customers and new prospects.
• Compile lists of prospective customers from multiple data sources for leads.
• Travel within territory to solicit orders and address customer concerns.
• Prepare cost estimates/quotations and coordinate project continuation estimates.
• Verify prices and terms; prepare and review sales contracts.
• Assess competitors to determine product changes or new offerings.
• Prepare pipeline, activity, and business plan reports.
• Identify tools, rebates, and ROI to aid sales efforts.
• Plan and guide projects to completion with SME input as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors/contractors to deliver complex solutions.

Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location : Hybrid role based in the Houston District Service Office with regular local travel to customers and job sites.What you will do:Work in assigned territory, partnering closely with Direct Owners, Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and TechniciansMeet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new businessCompile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or other lead generation sourceTravel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concernsPrepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinate the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
