Job summary

TPIS is seeking a Service and Repairs Technician in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. The role involves servicing water dispensers, filtration equipment, ice and coffee machines at homes and businesses, while maintaining high standards of integrity and customer care.

Responsibilities include completing daily services, installing and maintaining equipment, recording all service data in Salesforce, and managing routes and inventory. Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in professional customer service.
• Must have 1 year of experience in route fulfillment and/or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service and installation of water dispensers, filtration, ice and coffee machines.
• Complete all assigned daily services across the island.
• Install, maintain, replace, relocate and clean equipment as needed.
• Record service details and parts used in Salesforce.
• Deliver invoices and service agreements to customers.
• Manage daily route and inventory in the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct evaluations for potential installations at customer facilities.

Position

The Service Technician will be responsible for assisting customers with the highest level of integrity while seeking a mutually beneficial outcome for both the company and the client. Their objective is to complete all assigned routes and delegated services, attending to customers courteously and ethically, and ensuring that all required information is completed after each service.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the quality, hygiene, and service standards established by the company and its clients when installing and servicing water dispensers, water filtration equipment, ice machines, and coffee machines in residences and businesses across the island.
• Completing all assigned daily services in full.
• Installing and performing maintenance on water coolers, water filtration systems, ice machines, and coffee machines.
• Replacing equipment filters.
• Installing, removing, and relocating equipment.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and descaling equipment.
• Handling repairs and resolving service calls.
• Delivering invoices and service agreements to customers.
• Performing product sales and deliveries.
• Recording all completed services and parts used in Salesforce.
• Managing their daily route to ensure completion of all assigned services.
• Managing their inventory, including but not limited to products, parts, and filters in the assigned vehicle.
• Conducting evaluations at customer facilities for potential installations.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and organized at all times.
• Being responsible for company-issued tools in case of loss.
• High school diploma
• Minimum 1 year of experience in professional customer service
• Minimum 1 year of experience in route fulfillment and/or logistics

Schedule

Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Compensation

• $13.00 per hour
