Job summary

La Cuisine International is seeking a Service and Installation Technician to deliver high-quality on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for luxury appliances in the South Florida region. You will diagnose issues, order parts, and keep detailed service reports while coordinating with the service team.

The role requires 3+ years of field experience with household appliances, strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with household appliance repairs in the field.
• Experience with high-end/luxury appliances preferred.
• Sealed system experience on domestic refrigeration a plus.
• Ability to diagnose electronic/electrical systems and read/interpret service manuals and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to reassure customers respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair services, maintenance, installations, and pre-installation visits at customer homes.
• Diagnose appliance problems and supply/ install new parts as needed.
• Order parts via Spare Parts Department after evaluating parts breakdown.
• Manage spare parts truck stock and maintain service reports per guidelines.
• Coordinate with customer service to schedule services and close jobs.
• Create technical reports for special cases when required by management.
• Attend corporate/manufacturer trainings, in-person or virtual.

Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, technically oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service and Installation Technician. The successful candidate will play an important role in serving our customers by providing elevated services and support during the service steps of their journey with our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site (customer homes) high-quality repair services, maintenance, installations, and pre-installation visits
• Effectively diagnose appliance problems and provide repair, installing new parts
• Evaluate parts breakdown (Exploded View) to order parts via Spare Parts Department
• Control spare parts truck stock and
• Maintain complete service job reports, fulfilling all Corporate Guidelines, for all jobs provided
• To work with our customer service team to schedule services and close all jobs scheduled
• Create technical reports for specific cases whenever required by management

• Participate in Corporate and Manufacturers in-person Trainings (Locally or internationally) twice a year
• Participate in Corporate and Manufacturers' virtual Trainings whenever required by management
• Keep the NPS personal score of a minimum of +38
• Report to the Subsidiary Service Manager, following all guidelines required for this position

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven 3+ years’ experience with household appliance repairs with field experience
• Experience with High-End and Luxury Appliances is preferred
• Sealed System experience on domestic refrigeration is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical systems and to read, interpret and utilize Electrical diagrams, technical documents and service manuals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reassure consumers in stressful situations, with extreme respect and cordiality.
• Capacity to handle customer complaints and issues with patience and professionalism
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while performing repair activities
• Willingness to stay updated on product specifications and industry trends by participating on trainings, workshops, and webinars
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strictly follow all safety and manufacturer's protocols in the Services and Installations
• Knowledgeable about electrical and electronic circuits
• Proficient and Knowledge of Hand/Power Tools

Education and Additional Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanics, electronics or refrigeration.
• Residential Appliance Technician Certification (NASTeC) or General Electrician License is preferred but not required.
• Need a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

Physical Requirements

• Drive for 2+ hours/day
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Constant bending, kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time (8+ hours)

• English bilingual proficiency – mandatory
• Spanish and/or Portuguese bilingual proficiency – preferred
