Barton Ford in Suffolk, Virginia is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our dealership team. You will write service orders for vehicles and communicate with customers regarding repairs and estimates.

The ideal candidate has service writer experience, excellent communication and writing skills, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time, in-person position with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have service writer experience.
• Strong CSI scores are preferred.
• Customer service oriented with excellent writing skills.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record required.

Responsibilities

Our Service Advisors are responsible for writing service on customer vehicles that are repaired at our dealership.

• Successful candidates must be able to handle multiple tasks, possess great communication and writing skills, be very organized and exceptionally customer service oriented. Strong CSI scores are a huge factor. We offer higher average income than the local market. We have a major commitment to customer satisfaction so a strong track record in this area is a must.
• This position does require a lot of walking within the dealership/service department and standing.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, between hours of the Service Department, 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM and rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required. Subject to all pre-employment testing. Ford experience is preferred.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
