Levittown Ford, part of the VIP Automotive Group of Long Island, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our Levittown, NY service department. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Saturday schedule and lucrative commission/bonuses.

Ford dealership experience is preferred, and dealership service operations knowledge is essential for building customer relationships and maximizing service opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
• 1+ year of automotive dealership experience
• Ford dealership experience preferred
• Experience with automotive DMS systems is a plus

NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR

Levittown Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer / Automotive Service Consultant to join our busy and growing Service Department in Levittown, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor, Automotive Service Consultant, Service Writer, or Dealership Service Advisor who understands dealership service operations and knows how to build strong customer relationships while maximizing service opportunities.

Ford dealership experience is preferred. Automotive dealership service experience is required.

COMPENSATION & CAREER OPPORTUNITY

$90,000 – $125,000+ annually, including commission and bonuses.

We provide the training, technology, resources, and team support needed to help experienced Service Advisors succeed in a high-volume automotive dealership environment.

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and the service department.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally
• Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns
• Schedule automotive service and maintenance appointments
• Perform vehicle walkarounds and arrange technician test drives when necessary
• Review vehicle history and identify recommended maintenance and repairs
• Explain automotive repairs, maintenance services, and manufacturer recommendations
• Prepare and present accurate labor and parts estimates
• Set and manage promised delivery times
• Coordinate repair workflow with technicians and dispatch
• Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customersObtain authorization for additional repairs
• Maximize service opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
• Review and close repair orders accurately
• Maintain detailed and accurate service documentation
• Explain completed repairs and recommended future maintenance
• Assist with inbound service calls and appointment scheduling
• Maintain strong customer relationships and CSI performance
• Inspect vehicles for potential bodywork needs and prepare estimates when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive and workspace

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
• 1+ year of automotive dealership experience required
• Ford dealership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to understand and explain automotive service recommendations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership service department
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or other automotive DMS systems is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
