Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company is seeking a Service Advisor at the Lake City, GA location to greet customers, coordinate repairs, and estimate costs within guidelines. You will work with the Service Manager and Shop Foremen to schedule tasks and maintain accurate repair orders.

The role requires 4+ years in a related field with strong customer relations, communication, and leadership abilities. A CDL is preferred, and a positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years' experience in related field.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and coordinate repair requests.
• Estimate repair costs within guidelines and prepare repair orders.
• Assist Service Manager with warranty documentation and repair order filing.
• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for scheduling.
• Input repair order data into the system and close orders.
• Maintain shop tools and supplies and update status as needed.
• Notify Service Manager of customer complaints to resolve issues.
• Advise customers on needed service work and potential additional services.
• Support ongoing training to stay current on technical and warranty issues.
• Keep the shop and office clean; perform other duties as assigned.
