Job description

Fuel Powersports is looking for an energetic Service Advisor to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Assist the service department in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation with a high degree of customer service.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems accurately and clearly relay information to customers.
  • Clearly communicate estimated costs and set expectations for completion times.
  • Accurately look up parts for repair orders to build estimates.
  • Open and close repair orders and perform cashier duties as needed to check customers out.
  • Run VIN numbers for outstanding warranty repair work on manufacturer websites.
  • Open and close warranty repair orders.
  • Follow procedures for quick and efficient handling of repair orders for customers and internally.
  • Become efficient with all phases of the service process.
  • Walk customers around their new purchase and introduce them to the service department and our offerings to enhance their buying experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Enjoy helping customers solve problems.
  • Understand the importance of providing outstanding customer service.
  • Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Greet all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Handle telephone and over-the-counter transactions quickly and courteously.
  • Identify additional services a vehicle may need that the customer is not aware of.
  • Handle customer objections reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication and phone skills.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly motivated and willing to take initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining courteous and positive.
