Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership management and digital inspection systems.
• Reynolds and Reynolds, Xtime experience - preferred.
• Buick, GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac, or other dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain repairs without pressuring or confusing customers.
• Comfortable presenting maintenance and repair recommendations.
• Organized and able to manage multiple active repair orders.
• Dependable, professional, and accountable.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document their concerns.
• Perform a professional vehicle walk-around.
• Prepare repair orders and obtain proper customer authorization.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and confidently.
• Provide customers with proactive, consistent status updates.
• Review technician findings, digital inspections, photos, and videos.
• Coordinate repairs with technicians, dispatch, and the parts department.
• Set realistic expectations regarding repair timing and parts availability.
• Follow up on declined work and outstanding customer decisions.
• Ensure repair orders are complete and properly documented.
• Review completed repairs and charges before vehicle delivery.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and take ownership of their resolution.
• Maintain strong CSI and customer-retention results.
