Job summary

Les Stanford Buick GMC is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to own the customer experience from write-up to delivery in our established service department. The right candidate will communicate clearly with customers, work with technicians and parts, and ensure customers understand all repairs with confidence.

You should bring familiarity with dealer management and digital inspection systems, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership management and digital inspection systems.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to explain repairs clearly without pressuring customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document their concerns.
• Perform a professional vehicle walk-around.
• Prepare repair orders and obtain proper customer authorization.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and confidently; provide status updates.
• Review technician findings, digital inspections, photos, and videos.
• Coordinate repairs with technicians, dispatch, and the parts department.
• Set realistic expectations regarding repair timing and parts availability.
• Follow up on declined work and outstanding customer decisions.
• Ensure repair orders are complete and properly documented.
• Review completed repairs and charges before vehicle delivery.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and take ownership of their resolution.
• Maintain strong CSI and customer-retention results.
