Jerry Haggerty Chevrolet in Villa Park, IL is seeking a Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will meet with customers, assess needs, and oversee service quality while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements include automotive service advisor experience, a valid driver’s license, fluency in English, and strong computer skills. We offer health insurance, 401K, paid vacation and training, with a Monday–Saturday schedule and Sundays off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control.

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.

• Proficient use of computers/business machines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions.
• Oversee technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
• Oversee and participate in quality control.
• Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate.
