Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of automotive service advisor experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally from arrival through vehicle delivery.
• Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms and service requests.
• Create, manage, and monitor repair orders throughout the service process.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and the service department.
• Communicate service recommendations, estimates, repair progress, and completion timelines.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and maintenance services.
• Educate customers on manufacturer-recommended maintenance and vehicle care.
• Maintain records of customer communications, approvals, and repair history.
• Review completed repair orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Assist in achieving departmental sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Ensure compliance with warranty requirements and dealership procedures.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.

We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at our newly renovated Giambalvo Kia Mitsubishi dealership. What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of automotive service advisor experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to effectively explain technical information to customers
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dealership service advisor experience
• Kia, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, or import brand experience
• Knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes
• Proven track record of customer satisfaction and service sales success
