Vanguard Auto Group is seeking an engaged Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, and accurately document symptoms. You will recommend maintenance based on vehicle age and history, and prepare cost estimates for labor and parts.

Daily follow-ups, progress monitoring, and clear explanations of completed work ensure customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes integrity, energetic collaboration, and a commitment to a long-term career within our family-owned group.

Qualifications

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant.
• Very energetic personality and a desire for a long-term career.
• Personal and professional integrity; willingness to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of the cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
