Job summary

Pierre Ford of Lynnwood is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to bridge customers and our service technicians. You will greet customers, document vehicle data, discuss maintenance, and present clear repair estimates.

In this fast-paced role you will use our dealership system, coordinate with parts and service teams, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. A high school diploma and 2+ years in service advisory are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor or similar role in automotive services.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Collect customer and vehicle information, accurately documenting it in the dealership management system.
• Listen attentively to customer concerns and needs, and provide expert advice on maintenance and repair services.
• Work closely with technicians to understand the diagnostics and communicate this to customers.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, including parts and labor.
• Coordinate with parts and service departments for timely completion of work.
• Keep customers informed on the progress of their vehicle, managing expectations appropriately.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of current automotive products, features, and warranties.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
