Job summary

MB of Nashville, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is hiring a Service Advisor to schedule service work and sell necessary services to customers. A monthly draw plus commission structure targets total earnings up to $120,000 with a $2,000 monthly draw.

You will greet customers, provide cost estimates, track repair progress, and uphold CSI scores. This role requires dealership experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Two years of experience in a dealership position.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts and establishes promised time.
• Monitors progress of repairs and communicates changes to customers with explanations.
• Test-drives vehicles or refers to the test technician as needed.
• MaintainsCustomer Satisfaction Index ratings comparable to the manufacturer or branch average.
• Advices customers on car care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Follows safety and regulatory requirements and reports accidents as required.
