Sonic Automotive Buena Park Honda is seeking a Service Advisor to join our service team. You will greet customers, document issues, relay repairs, and collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion.

This full-time role offers $17 per hour plus commission with an on-target earnings range of $65,000 to $120,000 per year. A strong customer-service orientation and experience in a high-volume dealership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Service Advisor in a high-volume dealership.
• Experience with Honda or Acura brand preferred.
• Dealership advisor and sales experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and Hours per RO 2+.
• Experience using CDK.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and basic technical understanding.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with service department operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Document vehicle issues accurately and listen to concerns.
• Explain recommended services and repairs clearly.
• Communicate estimated costs and obtain approval for services.
• Schedule appointments and manage service bay availability.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Update customers on vehicle status throughout the service process.
• Provide accurate repair timelines and inform delays.
• Prepare invoices and explain charges to customers.
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
