Job summary

Buena Park Honda, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking a Service Advisor to join our service team. You will be the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring accurate documentation, timely diagnostics, and quality repairs while delivering exceptional customer service.

Salary includes hourly base plus commission with on-target earnings potential of $65,000 to $120,000 yearly. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Service Advisor in a high volume dealership setting.
• Experience with Honda or Acura brand preferred.
• Dealership Advisor and Sales experience a plus.
• Excellent CSE and Hours per RO 2+.
• Experience using and working with CDK; knowledge of automotive systems."

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Listen to customers' concerns and document vehicle issues.
• Explain recommended services and repairs in detail.
• Communicate estimated costs and obtain approval for services.
• Schedule appointments and manage service bay availability.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Update customers on vehicle status and timelines.
• Prepare invoices and explain charges to customers.
• Process payments and address billing inquiries.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and address concerns.
