Job summary

Poway Honda, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is hiring a Service Advisor. The role schedules service appointments, greets customers, and prepares written estimates for labor and parts, ensuring accurate timelines.

Compensation includes a base hourly pay plus commission, with a pay scale USD 17.00/hr base and annual earnings between USD 75,000 and USD 125,000. We offer competitive benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an Advisor or similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of vehicle service processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and collect customer/vehicle data.
• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Provide written labor and parts estimates with promised times.
• Update customers on changes to estimates or times; obtain authorization for extra work.
• Test-drive or refer to test technician as needed.
• Maintain CSI at or above manufacturer/branch averages.
• Advise customers on car maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Follow safety policies and reporting of accidents.
• Understand and follow federal/state regulations on hazardous waste.
