Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor in Chandler, AZ to bridge customers and our service technicians. You will explain technician recommendations in clear language and identify upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

In our state-of-the-art service departments you’ll set appointments, greet customers, assess vehicle needs via walk-arounds and test drives, and produce transparent cost estimates while coordinating with techs and parts staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and vehicle walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates with full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction as preferred by the customer.
• Gain product knowledge to better assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
