Job summary

Fuel Powersports seeks a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the primary contact between customers and the service team. You will greet customers, write and manage repair orders, communicate progress, and help ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.

You will schedule service work, dispatch orders to technicians, and maintain detailed documentation with customer approvals. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced dealership

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills and comfort with spreadsheets/graphs as needed.
• Computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to gather information and develop solutions.
• Ability and desire to sell dealership products and services.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Manufacturer training/certification or willingness to become fully certified.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage repair orders; write and track progress.
• Schedule service work and dispatch orders to technicians; monitor status daily.
• Create, update, and maintain repair orders with accurate documentation; obtain customer approvals.
• Provide labor and parts estimates; coordinate with technicians and parts for availability.
• Run VINs for updates and warranty coverage on customer/sales units.
• Communicate proactively with customers; return calls and emails promptly.
• Explain recommended work clearly; suggest additional service/parts when appropriate.
• Follow up with technicians and customers to drive progress and loyalty.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to dress code.
