Best Line Equipment in Muncy, PA is seeking a Service Advisor to connect customers with service technicians, parts, and management. You will be the primary contact throughout the repair process, ensuring smooth progression from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable with equipment, and able to explain repair needs and costs clearly. Experience with service software and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Are you someone who can talk to a customer about a machine problem, work with a technician to determine what needs to be done, and keep the repair moving from start to finish?

We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our Muncy, PA team. This is a key customer-facing position that connects our customers with our service technicians, parts department, and service management team.

The right person will be organized, responsive, comfortable around equipment, and confident communicating both technical information and repair costs to customers.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process
• Build strong customer relationships through professional, timely, and knowledgeable service
• Listen to customer concerns, document repair requests, and communicate equipment issues clearly, and estimated labor
• Track repair progress and keep customers informed of status, delays, additional repairs, and completion times
• Prepare accurate estimates for parts, labor, and total repair costs
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and communicate changes to the original estimate
• Process warranty claims and maintain accurate repair documentation
• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
• Maintain accurate customer and equipment records
• Review completed work and prepare final customer invoices
• Follow up with customers after repairs to ensure their needs were met
• Help ensure repairs move efficiently from initial customer concern through final delivery

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in equipment and how it works.

Strong candidates may come from a service advisor, service writer, equipment technician, parts, dealership, automotive, diesel, agricultural, or industrial equipment background.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities at the same time
• Comfort discussing repair needs, estimates, parts, and labor with customers
• The ability to communicate effectively with technicians and service management
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or diesel systems
• Experience working with construction, industrial, agricultural, aerial, or heavy equipment is strongly preferred
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn service and dealership software
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday
• Seasonal Saturday rotation may apply

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $32.00/hr. (dependent upon experience)
